MODULE AIM:This course provides an introduction to a family inclusive practice approach within alcohol and other drug settings.  It allows learners to reflect on how this approach can be incorporated into their work. 
LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this module learners will be able to:

  • describe what family inclusive practice (FIP) is and how it can improve outcomes for clients and families.
  • identify principles of FIP and reflect on how these impact the way we work. 
  • list the different ways services can incorporate family inclusive practice. 
  • reflect on how to implement these ways of working into existing workplaces.

CPD:Participation in this activity may contribute to CPD. A Statement of Completion will be issued on completion of this module.
